Dr. Mani is a Postgraduate in Medicine from Lady Hardinge Medical College and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. He also carries the election of M.R.C.P. (UK).
Dr. Mani has nearly 24 years of experience in the fields of Medicine, Pulmonology and Critical Care during which he has been instrumental in the setting of Critical Care Units of many healthcare giants in Delhi NCR including Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Delhi Heart and Lung Institute and Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital. In the early 90's Dr. Mani pioneered the introduction of noninvasive ventilatory support in Batra Hospital. The experience in noninvasive ventilation was later extended to include domiciliary ventilatory support of patients with chronic respiratory failure due to COPD, neuromuscular disorders or chest wall disorders. Dr. Mani's contribution made in this field was recognized widely and led to scores of invitations for lectures and workshops across the country and abroad.
Dr. Mani is one of the first pulmonologists of the country to develop sleep medicine. Over the years, Dr. Mani has developed expertise in evaluation and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, obesity hypoventilation syndrome and narcolepsy.
Dr. Mani is widely recognized as a teacher in critical care, pulmonology and sleep medicine. Dr. Mani was also elected President of The Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine and has represented the Society in many National and International forums. |
