Gynae Oncology

 

The Division of Gynecologic Oncology of Artemis Health Institute has become a Delhi NCR center of care for women diagnosed with possible gynecologic cancer or pre-cancerous conditions. All the diagnostic facilities like CT scan, MRI 3T, PET scan, cancer markers and oncopathology are available.

The department offers surgical treatment, as well as expertise in the management of patients receiving radiation and chemotherapy.

Women who are diagnosed with possible gynecologic cancer or pre-cancerous conditions are treated at AHI by gynecologic oncology specialists. The division of gynaecologic oncology is focused on providing the highest quality of individualized care to women.

Among the departments’s patients are:

• Women who have had abnormal pap smears and/or cervical lesions and are in need of additional tests to rule out the possibility of cervical cancer.
• Women with abnormal uterine bleeding to rule out endometrial cancer.
• Women with vulvar irritations and/or lesions to rule out vulvar cancer.
• Women with adnexal or pelvic masses to rule out ovarian cancer. Women who were diagnosed elsewhere with a gynecologic cancer or those who have received their primary treatment elsewhere also are referred to Artemis Health Institute for treatment of their primary or recurrent gynecologic malignancies.
  
  A variety of services are available to support patients with gynecologic malignancies and their families, from the initial decision-making process through treatment, long-term care and follow-up.
