Obstetric ServicesBeing a mother is perhaps the most significant event in a woman's life and a milestone for any family. The department provides a modern, safe and friendly environment for 'mothers to be' with full multispecialty backup. The department is staffed by full-time senior consultants and post graduate registrars round-the-clock. To make the labor a memorable & pleasant experience provision of labor analgesia (painless delivery) is available. Routine and high-risk pregnancies are managed in accordance with the international protocols & guidelines with outcomes similar to developed countries.

The Obstetrics Department provides round-the-clock labor and delivery services performed by in-house obstetricians and neonatologists.

The hospital has the highest number of LDR (labor delivery rooms) in Delhi NCR wherein the patient goes through the process of labor in a very serene, pleasant & comfortable environment with the family around and husband allowed to participate in the delivery process to give the moral support to the patient. It is possible to have the doula services available on demand of the ‘mother to be’. All the labor patients are continuously monitored with centralized electronic fetal monitoring.

Following delivery, the hospital has a rooming-in policy for mother and baby during their hospital stay, and also allows new mothers to participate in the baby’s early care and development. Lactation consultants are available for any breast-feeding problems or advice.

Immediate access to superior perinatal and neonatal intensive care services is also available if required.

 

Fetal Maternal Medicine

Ultrasound (Prenatal Diagnosis)

Dedicated exclusively to providing gynecologic and obstetric evaluations through state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment (3D,4 D and Doppler) and the latest diagnostic techniques. Obstetric evaluations include early pregnancy scans, detection of soft markers of Down's syndrome, comprehensive ultrasound evaluations of fetal anatomy and the growth scans.

High-Risk Obstetrical Services

The department of Obstetrics & Gynecology provides comprehensive care to the mother and a second patient, the fetus, in any pregnancy, and especially any pregnancy complicated by maternal or fetal problems e.g
