Artemis Dedication to Patient Safety

Patient Safety concerns have been a large focus in the past ten years or so in hospitals in the western world. Artemis, since the day of its inception has placed a great emphasis on making our Hospital safer both for our patients and our employees. Hospitals like any other environment pose a number of identified and unidentified risks. Modern hospitals are complex environments that are not only intimidating but also need strict safety provisions and protocols to prevent harm. To raise awareness towards this issue we are celebrating our “Patient Safety Day “on September 9, 2010. There are a multitude of teams that work behind the scenes to ensure that each and every process is designed to identify and resolve potential areas of harm. This day will be celebrated by educating our staff, having a quiz regarding Safety issues, Movies and interactive sessions. Our patients are welcome to visit our program. They will also be given information brochures on how they can be partners in their own care thereby involving them in the Artemis Dedication towards patient safety.
